طنازي t̤annāz-ī A. s. f. Playfulness, jocoseness, facetiousness.

طوق t̤auḳ A s. m. 1. A collar, yoke. 2. Neck- lace, chain (for the neck, whether by way of or- nament or of punishment), a ring. t̤auḳ-i-zan- jīr, Irons, manacles. طوق زنجير کرنا t̤auḳ-zanjīr- karnā, To imprison, to put in irons.

طنين t̤anīn A s. f. Buzzing.

طليعه t̤alīʼaﻌ A s. m. The piquet or advanced post, the vanguard.

طمنچه t̤amancha T s. m. A pistol. See تبنچه.

طلاق t̤alāḳ A (from طلق) s. f. Divorce, repudia- tion.

طنب t̤unub A (or t̤anab) s. The cord or rope of a tent, curtain, &c. (plur. اطناب).

طماچه t̤amācha P s. m. See طمانچه t̤amāncha.

طبع t̤abﻌ A (Rab. from طبع Heb. To dip, immerge, mark or coin money) s. f. Na- ture, genius, temperament, quality, disposition. طبع آزماٴي t̤abﻌ-āzmā-ī, s. f. Trial of genius. طبع زاد t̤abﻌ-zād, Invention, production of ge- nius, produced by the genius.

طيار t̤aiyār A adj. (superl. of طير) Flying, running swiftly, fleet; a winged animal; (in Hindust. meaning) Ready, &c. see تيار taiyār.
