طلا t̤ilā A s. An ointment, liniment, embrocation. طلاکرنا t̤ilā karnā, To anoint, besmear, embro- cate.

طپان t̤apāṅ P part. act. (of طپيدن) Palpitating, flouncing, agitated.

طعن t̤aﻌn A (Heb. and Ch. To load, to pierce) s. m. 1. Blame, disapprobation, reproach, chiding, censure. 2. Striking with a spear.

طمانچه t̤amāncha P. (or تپانچه from تپ) s. m. A slap, blow, box, thump, cuff, &c. طمانچه جڙنا يا لگانا يا مارنا t̤amāncha-jaṛnā, or -lagānā or -mārnā, To give a slap, to cuff. طمانچي سي منـﮩـ لال رکهنا t̤amānche se muṅh lāl rakhnā, To conceal oneʼs poverty from pride or high spirit.
