طغيان t̤ug̠ẖyān A (from طغي Heb. or To err, to stray, to rebel) s. m. Rebellion, sedition, perverseness, insolence.

طارم t̤ārim P. (Pers. تارم) s. m. Any building of a circular form with an arched or cupola roof, a wooden structure in gardens, &c. for the guarding of them.

طرف t̤araf A (or t̤arf, from طرف To turn away, to strike the eye, compress the eye, wink) s. f. (dakh. s. m.) Side, margin, corner, quar- ter, extremity; towards. طرف ثاني t̤arf-i-s̤ānī, 1. طوسي t̤ūsī A s. f. A colour so called; a kind of purple.

طوف t̤auf A s. m. 1. Surrounding, making the circuit, going round. 2. Pilgrimage, the pro- cession round the temple of Mecca.

طلب t̤alab A 1. s. f. Pay, wages, salary. 2. Desire, wish, inquiry, search, demand, request, application, sending for, summons. 3. part. act. (of طلبيدن) in compos. Seeking, seeker, re- quiring. طلب کرنا t̤alab karnā, To demand, seek, require, ask for, call, summon.
