ارفاه irfāh A (inf. iv. of رفه Heb. Was loose or remiss; lived at ease) s. m. 1. Bestowing affluence, comforting, cherishing. 2. Enjoy- ment of peace and affluence.

آپ āp S̱. (Sans. आत्मा Soul, self) pron. Self, selves, yourself, you Sir (used, instead of the personal pronoun of the second person, by an inferiour when addressing his superiour), his worship, &c. آپ سوارتهي āp-swārthī, adj. Selfish, seeking the interest of self.

آلبال ālbāl आलवाल S̱. s. m. A basin for water round the root of a tree.

اٿنا as̤nā A (from ٿني Heb. He turned, bent, doubled, &c.) s. m. The middle, interstice, in- terval: folds or plaits. اٿنائي راه as̤nā-i-rāh, or اٿناي راه مین as̤nā-i-rāh meṅ, In the middle of the road, whilst travelling.

اپهلت अ and फलित In fruit a-phalit S. adj. Not in fruit (a fruit tree).

افتادگي uftāda-gī P s. f. A falling, tumbling.

امور umūr A s. m. plur. (of امر) Things, affairs, business, matters, actions, commands.

اجلاس ijlās A (inf. iv. of جلس) s. f. Seating, causing to sit.

اتیرکت atī-rikt अतिरिक्त S̱. adj. Excessive, exceeding.

الرنا ularnā H v. n. To lie down, to rest.
