اڙانا uṛānā S̱. (caus. of اڙنا) v. a. To cause to fly; to squander or spend extravagantly, dissipate, blow up or away, disperse, filch, to entice. اڙانا پڙانا uṛānā puṛānā, To squander.

انجاما an-jāmā S̱. (अन् priv. and जन्म Birth) adj. Barren (land) in which nothing will grow.

اهرنا uharnā H v. n. To subside (a swelling or inundation).

اخیر aḵẖīr A adj. Last, final, latter. s. m. The end, accomplishment, completion.

انکهہ ānkh S̱. (Sans. अक्षि) s. f. The eye. آنکهہ انجني ānkh-anjanī, s. f. A sty on the eyelids. آنکهہ آني ānkh ānī, To have an inflammation in the eyes, to be blear-eyed. آنکهہ بچانا ānkh ba- chānā, To steal away privately and unseen. آنکهہ بدلنا ānkh badalnā, To withdraw oneʼs fa- vour or affection from any one. انکهہ برابر نکر سکنا ānkh barābar na kar saknā (Not to be able to look steadfastly in anotherʼs face) To be ashamed. آنکهہ بند کرلیني ānkh band kar lenī, 1. To turn from another, to treat one with neglect. 2. To die. آنکهہ بهرکي دیکهنا ānkh bharke dekhnā, To look till oneʼs curiosity is fully satisfied. آنکهہ بهرلانا ānkh bhar lānā, To have eyes full of tears, to be ready to cry. آنکهہ پسارنا ānkh pasārnā

انهونهار an-honhār S̱. adj. Hopeless, unpromising. S. اني 1. अणि or अणी aṇī, s. f. The point or edge of any thing sharp (of an arrow, spear, &c.). 2. अन्य anya, adj. Other.

Possessed of, endowed with. اهل الله ahlu-llāh, People of God; dervises, fakīrs. اهل باطن ahl-i-bāt̤in, Contemplative. اهل بيت ahl-i-bait (People of the house) Family; (but always meaning) the family of the prophet Muhammad. اهل حرفه ahl-i-ḥirfa, Artificer, artisan. اهل خدمت ahl-i-ḵẖidmat, An officer, one in office under the government. اهل حيانت ahl-i-ḵẖiyānat, Treacherous, perfidious. اهل دل ahl-i-dil, Liberal, brave, generous; dervises. اهل دلق ahl-i-dalḳ, Dervises, mendicants. اهل دول ahl-i-dawal, Possessed of wealth, rich. اهل ذوق ahl-i-ẕauḳ, Addicted to pleasure, a voluptuary. اهل روزگار ahl-i-rozgār, Knowing the world, skil- ful. اهل ريش ahl-i-rīsh, Having a beard; a grown-up man. اهل زمان ahl-i-zamān, Time serving. اهل زمين ahl-i-zamīn, An inhabitant of the earth. اهل زهد ahl-i-zuhd, Continent, devout, pious. اهل سخن ahl-i-suḵẖan, Eloquent. اهل شرع ahl-i-sharﻌ, A legislator, a lawyer, one who observes the law of Muhammad. اهل صفا ahl-i-ṣafā, Pure in heart; a Sūfī; a voluptuary. اهل طاعت ahl-i-t̤āʼaﻌt, Obedient, faithful to God. اهل طبع ahl-i-t̤abﻌ, Possessed of genius, person of genius. اهل طبقه ahl-i-t̤abḳa, One who does not observe the precepts of Muhammad. اهل طريق ahl-i-t̤arīḳ, An observer of the laws of
