شاگرد shāgird P s. m. 1. A scholar, disciple, ap- prentice. 2. A servant. شاگرد پيشه shāgird- pesha, s. m. A servant. شاگرد رشيد shāgird-i-rashīd, s. m. A complete scholar, an apt scholar.

شک shakk A s. m. f. Doubt, suspense, hesita- tion, uncertainty. ¶ shikk, s. (in the Kāmūs thus explained, الحُلّةُ الّتِي تُلّبَسُ ظُہوُرُ اُلِسّيَتَينِ) The covering with which the backs of the two extremities of the bow are covered.

شبو shab-bo P (for شب بوي) s. Name of a flowering plant, said to be the Egyptian violet; per- haps the same as شب بو shab-bo, q. v.
