شہد shahd P s. m. Honey. (corrupt. shahat, or sahat). شہد مکهي shahd-makkhī or شہد کي مکهي shahd kī makkhī, s. f. A honey-bee.

شوميت shūm-iyat A s. f. Stinginess, niggardliness.

شبگون shab-gūn P adj. Of the colour of night, dark.

شنکر शंकर shankar S s. m. A name of Siva.

شہچال shah-chāl P s. f. A term used at chess, when the king only can move.
