سينه sīna P s. m. Breast, bosom. سينه افگار sīna- afgār, Wounded in the bosom. سينه افگاري sīna-afgārī, s. f. The having the bosom wounded, afflicted or troubled. سينه باز sīna-bāz, The name of a bird. سينه بسته sīna-basta, Locked up in the heart; a secret. سينه بند sīna-band, s. m. Stays, bodice. سينه چاک sīna-chāk, adj. Bosom-torn, afflicted. سينه چاکي sīna- chākī, s. f. Affliction. سينه خراشي sīna-ḵẖa- rāshī, s. f. Laceration of the breast, affliction. سينه ريش sīna-resh, adj. Wounded to the heart, afflicted. سينه زن sīna-zan, One who beats his breast at the festival of the Muḥarram. سينه زني sīna-zan-ī, s. f. Beating the breast. سينه زور sīna-zor, adj. Robust, proud of strength. سينه زوري sīna-zor-ī, s. f. 1. Strength, robustness, force. 2. Pride of power. سينه سوخته sīna-soḵẖta, or سينه سوز sīna-soz, adj. Torment- ed, distressed. سينه سوزي sīna-soz-ī, s. f. An- guish, torment. سينه فگار sīna-figār, adj. Wound- ed in the breast or heart. سينه فگاري sīna fi- gār-ī, s. f. The being wounded in the breast, &c. سينه کوبي sīna-kob-ī, s. f. Beating the breast.

سگٿ sagaṭ S̱. 1. adj. (dakh.) Alike, in the same manner: see يکسان yak-sān, under يک yak. 2. s. for سنگت sangat, q. v.

سٿي سٿي saṭī-saṭī S̱. (see سٿنا) adj. Joined, glued, stuck together, crowded.

سنياسي संन्यासी sannyāsī S s. m. A Brāhmaṇ of the fourth order, a religious mendicant.

سنتوکهہ संतोष सं prep. and r. तुष Be pleased santokh̤ S. (or santosh̤) s. m. Content, patience, sa- tiety, satisfaction, pleasure, gratification. سنتوکهہ کرنا santokh̤ karnā, To be patient, to be content.

سل بٿه sil-baṭṭa S̱. (शिला A stone, and पट्ट A stone for grinding on with a muller, &c.). s. m. Two stones with which spices, paint, &c. are ground.

سنکرات sankrāt S̱. s. f. See سنکرانتي sankrāntī.

سودي sūd-ī P adj. (Money) borrowed at interest, (money) at interest. S̱. H. سوڐول sū-ḍaul, adj. Well-shaped, graceful.

سنتاپ संताप santāp S s. m. Sorrow, pain, affliction, distress, misery.
