سينٿهي senṭhī H s. f. A kind of reed (of which moṛhās are made), reed- grass. (Saccharum sara: Roxb.).

سمٿنا simaṭnā H v. n. To be concentrated, to shrink, to be contracted or drawn together, to shrivel.

سزاب sazāb P s. Watercresses.

سگڙ sagaṛ शकट S̱. s. m. A cart.

سب sab S̱. (or dakh. sub for सर्व) adj. All, every, the whole, total. (In the inflection of the plural, this word generally becomes سبهون sabhoṅ). سب مصري کي هين ڐليان sab miṣrī kī haiṅ ḍaliyāṅ (All are pieces of sugar) is ap- plied to denote equality or similitude of state, form, &c. سب کچهہ sab kuchh, Every thing, all. سب کوٴي sab koʼī, Every body, every one, all. سبکهوا sab-khauwā, Omnivorous, one who eats all kinds of food without exception.

ست سٿهہ sat-saṭh सप्तषष्टि S̱. adj. Sixty seven.

سنسارک संसारिक sansārik S adj. Worldly.

سيلا selā H s. m. 1. A kind of sheet constituting a part of dress, especially worn and given in pre- sents in the Dakkh̤iṇ. 2. A royal tiger. A. P. سيلاب sail-āb (comp. of سيل A flowing, and آب Water) 1. adj. Abounding with water. 2. s. f. m. A flood, a torrent, a deluge, a stream. A. P. سيلابي sailāb-ī, adj. Relating to, or depending on a torrent, stream, &c. A. H. سيلاني sail-ānī (from سيل for سير sair) adj. Fond of walking or going about for amusement, of perambulation, &c.

سنگڙي singṛī S̱. (from शृंग or dimin. of سنگڙا) s. f. A small powderhorn for priming with.
