سماو samāʼo S̱. (from سمانا) s. m. Room, space.

سياست siyāsat A (from سوس) s. f. 1. Govern- ment, administration of justice. 2. Punish- ment, pain, chastisement, pang, agony. سياست کرنا siyāsat karnā, To chastise, to punish. سياست مين هونا siyāsat meṅ honā, To be in pain.

سفانت sifānat A (from سفن Heb. To cover, to plank or board) s. f. The art of ship-building.

ستنگ sitang S̱. (for शीतांग comp. of शीत Cold, and अंग Body) s. m. Palsy, numbness, being chilled with cold.

سکڙنا sukaṛnā संकोचन S̱. v. n. 1. To be shrunk or contracted, to shrink. 2. To draw in, to collect, gather up, constrain, shrivel, dwindle.

سمجهانا samjhānā S̱. (causal of سمجهنا) v. a. To make comprehend, to explain, to account for, to convince, describe, inform, satisfy, undeceive, warn, admonish, instruct, apologize.
