سنگخواره sang-ḵẖẉāra P s. A kind of bird, a smallish bird of a dark colour, called in Arabic قطاة ḳat̤āt (?).

To take the air, travel, perambulate, rove, walk. 2. To read, to pe- ruse. سير گاه sair-gāh, s. f. Place of perambu- lation, walk, passage, pass, thoroughfare.

سکهي सखी sakhī S s. f. 1. A womanʼs female friend or confidant. 2. A kind of faḳīr, who dresses like a woman.

سندرتائي sundartā-ī S̱. s. f. Beauty, handsomeness. A. P. سندروس sandaros, s. m. 1. Sandarak, or Sandaracha; a resin supposed to be produced by the Juniperus communis, but now proved to exude from a species of Thuia (Thuia articu- lata: Vahl).

سرکه sirka P s. m. Vinegar. S̱. H. سرکهپ sir-khap, adj. Resolute (soldier), ad- venturous.
