سبحه subʼḥa A s. m. A rosary. سبحه گردان subʼḥa-gardān, part. act. Turning or revolving the rosary. سبحه گرداني subʼḥa-gardān-ī, s. f. The turning or counting of the rosary.

سنگسي sangsī S̱. s. f. Pincers, forceps. See سنڙسي saṅṛsī.

سپـہري si-pahr-ī P. (سه Three, and پـہر A watch) s. f. Afternoon.

سويري sawere S̱. s. m. inflect. of سويرا sawerā, In the morning, early. See سبيري sabere.

سمهالنا samʼhālnā S̱. v. a. See سمبهالنا.

سونا sūnā शून्य S̱. adj. Empty, desert, void.

سيوا सेवा sewā S s. f. Service, worship, attend- ance on.

سنمکهہ sanmukh सम्मुख S̱. adv. Opposite, confronting, in face, over against.

سب sab S̱. (or dakh. sub for सर्व) adj. All, every, the whole, total. (In the inflection of the plural, this word generally becomes سبهون sabhoṅ). سب مصري کي هين ڐليان sab miṣrī kī haiṅ ḍaliyāṅ (All are pieces of sugar) is ap- plied to denote equality or similitude of state, form, &c. سب کچهہ sab kuchh, Every thing, all. سب کوٴي sab koʼī, Every body, every one, all. سبکهوا sab-khauwā, Omnivorous, one who eats all kinds of food without exception.

سنڐاسي sanḍāsī S̱. (corrupt. of سنياسي sannyāsī) s. m. A cast of Hindū faḳīrs.
