سوم sūm H s. m. A miser. (Arab. شوم).

سبز sabz P adj. Green, verdant, fresh, flourishing. سبزباغ دکهانا sabz bāg̠ẖ dikhānā, To de- ceive. سبزبختي sabz-baḵẖt-ī, s. f. Prosperity. سبزدهوما sabz-dhūmā, s. m. A kind of pigeon. سبزرنگ sabz-rang, adj. Of black complexion. سبزروشن sabz-roshan, s. m. A kind of pigeon. سبزقدم sabz-ḳadam, adj. Unfortunate, unlucky, ill-omened. سبزهونا sabz honā, To flourish. (Plur. سبزان Herbs, vegetables).

سدهنا sadhnā S̱. (intrans. of سادهنا q. v.) v. n. To be fully instructed or disciplined.
