سشيه शिष्य sish̤ya S s. m. See سکهہ sikh. S. سشٿاچار शिष्टाचार (comp. of शिष्ट Ordered, and आचार Conduct) sish̤ṭāchār, s. m. Po- liteness, complaisance, condescension, obligingness, good manners, ceremony.

سوچت sū-chit सुचित्त S̱. adj. 1. Thought- less, at leisure, disengaged, at ease. 2. Care- ful, attentive; occupied.

سوکيا स्वकीया swakīyā S adj. f. Own, of oneʼs own family. See سگا sagā.

سبهيتا subhītā S̱. (शुभ Luck, happy, and हित Suitable) s. m. Opportu- nity, convenience, accommodation, time, leisure.

سجانا sajānā S̱. (caus. of سجنا sajnā) v. a. To cause to prepare.

سرين surīn P s. f. The buttocks, the hips, the thighs.

سيولي sīwlī S̱. (Beng. from سينا To stitch) s. m. Name of a cast, whose business it is to draw juice from the date or tāṛ trees, &c.

سمبهالنا sambhālnā S̱. (संभारण from सं prep. and r. भृ support) v. a. 1. To support, prop, sustain, hold up, assist, help. 2. To shield, protect, stop, retain, restrain, check, repress.
