سکليکرم suklī-karm S̱. (शुक्लीकरण q. d. Whitening, making white) s. m. Soap.

سلح silaḥ A s. Arms: see سلاح silāh. سلح پوشي silaḥ-posh-ī, s. f. The wearing of armour. A. P. سلحخانه silaḥ-ḵẖāna, s. m. An arsenal, an armoury. A. P. سلحشور salaḥ-shor or silaḥ-shor (from سلاح Armour, and شور Exercise, habitude) adj. A champion, gladiator, horse-breaker.

سوست स्वस्ति swasti S A particle of benedic- tion, approbation, &c. (so be it, amen). स्वस्ति वाचन swasti-vāchan, s. m. A religious rite preparatory to any important observance, in which the Brāhmaṇs strew boiled rice on the ground, and invoke the blessing of the gods on the ceremony about to commence.
