سيپاره sī-pāra P (سي Thirty, and پاره Piece, di- vision, viz. a thirty piece) 1. s. m. Each one of the thirty sections, or the thirty sections, into which the ḳurʼān is divided. 2. adj. Of thirty pieces. See سپاره sipāra.

سپـہري si-pahr-ī P. (سه Three, and پـہر A watch) s. f. Afternoon.

سماع samāﻌ A (from سمع Heb. To hear) s. m. 1. Hearing, listening. 2. The sense of hearing. 3. Singing, a song. 4. Ecstacy occasioned by hearing singing, particularly in Dervises when hearing hymns.

سديا sadyā H 1. s. f. The female of the little bird called Amadavat. 2. A kind of faḳīr.

سوندهنا sondhnā S̱. (शोधन Purifying) v. a. 1. To rub cloth in mud preparatory to washing. 2. To mix, to smear.
