سکهہ sikh S̱. n. prop. Name of a people living in the Panjāb and in the neighbourhood of Lāhaur (Lahore) disciples or followers of Nānak.

سقاوه saḳāwa A. (prop. siḳāya from سقي) s. m. A cold bath or place for washing the body with cold water in.

سوکهنا sūkhnā S̱. (शोषण r. शुष Grow dry) v. n. To dry, dry up, evaporate, fall away, pine away, emaciate, shrivel, dwindle, wither. See سوکنا sūknā. ¶ sokhnā (शोषण) v. a. To soak up, dry up, absorb.

ستار sattār A (adj. superl. of ستر Heb. ) s. m. One who covers. ستارالعيوب sattāru-l-uﻌyūb, Hiding sins (with the veil of mercy).
