ساهي sāhī S̱. (Sans. शल्लकी) s. f. A porcupine.

سپچهہ सुपक्ष सु Good, and पक्ष Side, wing, partisan, fortnight su-pachchh̤ S. s. m. 1. The

سنپات sanpāt S or सन्निपात sannipāt, s. m. The name of a disease in which the body is seized with universal chilliness, Deliquium. (It is explained by the Hindū physicians to be that, in which the three humours, bile, phlegm, and atrabilis are corrupted).

سلو sallū H s. m. A thong, narrow slips of leather with which shoes are stitched.

سنمک sanmuk S̱. adv. (dakh.) See سنمکهہ sanmukh.

ساله sāl-a P (in compos.) A termination affixed to numbers, to denote so many years old; as دوساله do-sāla, Two years old; پنجساله panj- sāla, Five years old; صد ساله ṣad-sāla, Of a hundred years.

سٿهيانا saṭhiyānā S̱. (from षष्टि) v. n. To be turned of sixty years; to be decrepit, or in oneʼs dotage, to be superannuated.

سنجکت sanjukt S̱. (संयुक्त from सं and r. युज Join) adj. Joined, joined with, compounded.

سري sirī शिरः S̱. s. f. The head.

سردوال sar- P or sir-duwāl (سر Head, end, and دوال q. v.) s. f. Reins of a bridle, headstall.
