سربس sarbas S̱. or sarbasu (from सर्व and वसु Thing) s. m. Every thing, whole property.

سالوتري sālotarī S̱. (from शालिहोत्र A horse, comp. of शालि Corn, and होत्र An oblation) s. m. A horse-doctor.

سہوٿي sahauṭī H s. f. A kind of door-frame. S. سہودر सहोदर (comp. of सह With, and उदर Belly) sahodar, adj. Born of one mother; as, سہودربهاٴي sahodar-bhāʼī, Full brother.

سنج sanj P part. act. (of سنجيدن) in compos. Weigher, examiner; as, نغمه يا ترانه سنج nag̠ẖ- ma- or tarāna-sanj, A measurer of sounds, i. e. a musician. ¶ sinj, 1. adj. Elected, chosen. 2. s. m. A choice. ¶ a. sunj (prop. sunuj) s. m. The red (ber) jujube tree.

سرامد sar-āmad P (from سر Head, and آمدن To come; q. d. arrived at the summit) adj. Per- fect, complete, accomplished. 2. Master of any art, &c. 3. Chief.
