سيانه sayāna S̱. adj. (dakh.) See سيانا siyānā.

سنوات sanwāt A s. plur. (of سنت) 1. Years. 2. Old coin current at a depreciated rate after a certain number of years.

سوبهاو sobhāw S̱. or swa-bhāw (स्वभाव i. e. स्व Own, and भाव Nature) s. m. Nature, natural state, property or disposition, genius.

سنبهارنا sambhārnā S̱. v. a. See سمبهالنا.

سعايت siʼāﻌyat A (from سعي) s. f. 1. The work exacted of a half-ransomed slave to complete his freedom, or his paying the remaining price of redemption. 2. Accusation, detraction. 3. The care or management of the tenths or tithes raised for alms.

سويمبر swayambar S (स्वयम् Self, of self, and वर Selecting, a husband) s. m. A girlʼs se- lecting a husband for herself.

سماجي samājī समाजीय S̱. s. f. Musicians that attend dancers.

سجاٴي sajā-i S̱. (from سجانا) s. f. 1. The price paid for making belts or scabbards. 2. Pre- paration.

سموت संवत् samwat S s. m. A year, but ge- nerally means the era of Vikramāditya.
