رقم raḳam A (a. raḳm, from رقم Heb. To mark, to embroider) 1. s. f. A mark, sign, writing, hand-writing, character. 2. A mode of arith- metical notation, chiefly taken from the initials of the Arabic words denoting the numbers. 3. One character in the notation above described. 4. Arithmetick. 5.
