رخصتي ruḵẖṣat-ī A. s. f. Any thing given at parting.

رعشه raﻌsha A (Heb. Trembling, concussion) s. m. A tremour, shaking, the shaking palsy. رعشه دار raﻌsha-dār, adj. Palsied, having the palsy.

روکها rūkhā S̱. (रुक्ष or रूक्ष) adj. Dry, plain, rough, harsh, unkind, unfriendly, pure, simple, unseasoned. روکها سوکها rūkhā-sūkhā, adj. Plain, blunt, harsh (words, &c.).

رضا raẓā A or prop. riẓā (Heb. To approve, be pleased) s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, as- sent, good pleasure, will. 2. Permission, leave. رضاجوئي riẓā-jo-ī, s. f. Seeking the good plea- sure or approbation. رضامند raẓā-mand, adj. Acquiescing, consenting, permitting, wishing, willing. رضامندي raẓāmand-ī, s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, willingness, good pleasure. 2. Permission.

رکهاٴي rukhā-ī S̱. (from روکها) s. f. 1. Plainness, dryness. 2. Unkind looks, indifference.

رکشا रक्षा raksh̤ā S s. f. Protection, preserva- tion, defence, safety.

رکهي rakhī S̱. (from رکهنا) s. f. 1. A tribute paid to a Sikh chief for protection. 2. A protector, guardian. 3. adj. used subs. Grass which has been preserved for cattle, cut down and dried, hay.
