ارهٿ arhaṭ H s. m. An engine for raising water. Same as رهٿ rahaṭ.

ان وادي अनुवादी anu-vād-ī S s. m. A defen- dant, an opponent.

اکسٿهہ iksaṭh एकषष्टि S̱. adj. Sixty-one. S̱.P. اکسر ik-sar or ak-sar (ایک and سر) 1. adj. Single. 2. adv. All at once, all together.

اندها andhā S̱. (rarely, andha अंध) adj. Blind, dark. اندها دهند andhā-dhund, Blind, blindly. اندها دهند رونا andhā dhund ronā, To weep ex- cessively. اندها دهند لٿانا andhā dhund luṭānā, To squander, to spend extravagantly. اندها کوا andhā kūʼā, or اندها کوپ andhā kūp, A well filled up with rubbish or overgrown with bushes or weeds, a dry well.

انفصال infiṣāl A (inf. vii. of فصل) s. m. Sepa- ration, division: settling, decision (of a cause). انفصال کرنا infiṣāl karnā, To decide, to settle.

الحان ilḥān A (inf. iv. of لحن) s. m. Note, sound, modulation, tune, an air (in musick). ¶ alḥān, s. plur. (of لحن) Notes, tunes.

ارناٴي arunāʼī अरुणता S̱. s. f. A dark red colour. See under ارن aruṇ.

ادهرا udhrā H adj. Opened, undone, unrolled (as the seam in a garment, or thread which was rolled up in a clue).

آتش فگن ātash-figan P adj. Throwing fire.

اجہو aj-hū S̱. (آج and هو) adv. To day too, even now, just now, yet.
