ڐپهارنا ḍaphārnā H v. n. To cry bitterly, to blub- ber, to roar.

ڐهپهـ ḍhaph P. s. See ڐپهـ ḍaph.

ڐلوانا ḍalwānā H (caus. of ڐالنا) v. a. To cause to throw down or to throw, to occasion, &c. See ڐالنا ḍālnā.

ڐانس ḍāṅs दंश S̱. s. m. 1. The sting of a rep- tile. 2. A large musquito, a gadfly.

ڐهٿهيا ḍhaṭhiyā H s. f. A cord used instead of a bridle.

ڐرالو ḍar-ālū S̱. adj. Timid, fearing.

ڐورا ḍorā H s. m. 1. Thread, line, cord, &c. 2. Edge of a sword, &c. آنکهـ کا ڐورا ānkh kā ḍorā, A bloodshot eye, vessels distended with blood on the tunica conjunctiva of the eye (from in- toxication or other cause). ڐوري ڐالنا ḍore ḍālnā, v. a. 1. To stitch a quilt. 2. To utter a long continued sound like the Amaduvade (Fringilla amandava). گردن کا ڐورا gardan kā ḍorā, A graceful motion of the neck in dancing.

ڐامر ḍāmar H s. m. Resin, a torch.

ڐاک ḍāk H s. f. 1. A post (for the conveyance of letters, also relay of horses or of palkī bear- ers). 2. A postoffice. 3. Perpetual vomiting. ڐاک لگني ḍāk lagnī, To be seized with constant vomiting.

ڐهاڙهي ḍhāṛhī H s. m. A kind of musician, a singer.
