ڐکوت ḍakaut : ڐکوت ḍakaut H s. m. A cast of Hindūs descended from a brāh- maṇ on the fatherʼs and a gwālin on the mo- therʼs side. They subsist on alms on Saturday, and are skilled in astrology.

ڐوم ḍom H s. m. 1. A low cast of Hindūs. 2. The name of a cast of Musalmāns, the males of which are musicians, and the females sing and dance in the company of females only.
