ڐرالو ḍar-ālū S̱. adj. Timid, fearing.

ڐکڐکانا ḍakḍakānā H v. n. See ڐگڐگانا ḍag-ḍa- gānā.

ڐمرو डमरु ḍamru S s. m. A sort of small drum shaped like an hourglass, held in one hand, and beaten with the fingers.

ڐاهنا ḍāhnā दाहन S̱. v. n. 1. To be malicious, to burn with spite. 2. To be fused (as, metal). 3. To heat (metal).

ڐولا ḍolā दोला S̱. s. m. 1. A kind of sedan. 2. A wife from an inferiour family, married by a person of rank, who gives a present to her parents. She ranks below wives of equal fa- mily, but above concubines. ڐولا دينا ḍolā-denā, To give a daughter to a superiour by way of tribute.

ڐابک ḍābak H s. m. Fresh water drawn from a well.

ڐهوري ḍhorī H s. f. Eagerness, ardour.

ڐهکني ḍhaknī H s. f. A lid, cover (of a pot). H. S̱. ڐهکي لگانا ḍhukkī lagānā, v. a. To take aim.

ڐهنڐهنا ḍhunḍhnā S̱. v. a. See ڐهونڐهنا.

ڐر ḍar S̱. (दर r. दृ Fear) s. m. f. Fear, dread, awe. ڐرپوکنا ḍar-poknā, adj. A coward.
