دوال doʼāl P s. f. A leather strap, a belt. دوال پا doʼāl-pā, adj. 1. Webfooted. 2. A fabulous race with legs like thongs, who are said to deceive and devour unwary travellers.

ديت daiyat S̱. or daitya (दैत्य) s. m. A demon, a Titan, a giant.

دين दीन dīn S adj. Poor, needy, indigent; humble. دين ديال दीनदयालु dīn-dayāl, Merciful to the poor, دين بندهو दीनबंधु dīn- bandhu, The friend of the poor, and دينناتهـ दिननाथ dīna-nāth, Lord of the poor, are epithets of the Deity.
