دلوالي dilwālī H (دلي and والا) s. m. An inhabi- tant of دلي dillī or دهلي dihlī. دلي کي دلوالي منـﮩـ چکنا پيٿ خالي dillī ke dilwālī muṅh-chiknā peṭ-ḵẖālī, The inhabitants of Dihlī appear to be opulent, when in fact they are starving. (A proverb used to expose the vanity and indigence prevalent in that city).

دهيمر dhīmar धीवर S̱. s. m. A fisherman; name of a cast of fishermen.

دمدمه damdama A (from دمّ damma, To plaster, to heap up earth as a mole does) s. m. A cava- lier, a mound, a raised battery.
