ديوستان dew-stān P s. f. The habitation of demons. S̱. ديوستهان देवस्थान dewa-sthān, s. f. A place of idols, a temple.

دهڙا dhaṛā H s. m. 1. A party. 2. A weight. دهڙا باندهنا dhaṛā bāndhnā, To make up a standard to weigh by, with bricks or any thing else; as, by having one weight (of a pound, suppose) it is doubled, quadrupled, and so on, till the weight requisite is obtained.

دهقانيت dihḳān-iyat A s. f. Country manners, rusticity, vulgarity, boorishness.

دهنڐلانا dhanḍlānā H v. n. (dakh.) To wander without profit, to run about uselessly.

دهکارنا dhikkārnā धिक्कारण S̱. v. n. To re- proach, to curse.

ديمک dīmak P. (prop. ديوک) s. f. White ant.
