دهيريا dhīriyā S̱. s. f. A daughter. See دهي dhī.

دماغ dimāg̠ẖ A s. m. 1. The brain. دماغ تازه کرنا dimāg̠ẖ tāza karnā, To be pleased. 2. دهل duhal P (or duhul) s. m. A drum.

دهوا dhoʼā H s. m. A present of fruit.

دانتي dānt-ī दन्त S̱. s. f. The tooth of a saw or other instrument, cog (of a wheel). دانتي پڙنا dāntī paṛnā, v. n. To be notched or indent- ed (the edge of a tool). دانتي دينا dāntī denā, To insist upon. دانتي لگنا dāntī lagnā, To have a locked jaw.

دهقانيت dihḳān-iyat A s. f. Country manners, rusticity, vulgarity, boorishness.

دکهياري dukh-iyārī S̱. or dukh-yārī (दुःखी) adj. Afflicted.

دهاٴي duhāʼī S̱. s. f. See دوهاٴي dohāʼī.

دهلي dihlī P s. m. Name of a city, the metro- polis of Hindūstān. See دلي dillī.
