دوارکا द्वारिका dwārikā S s. f. Name of a Hindū holy place on the shore of the western sea, near the mouth of the gulf of Cutch. دوارکا ناتهـ द्वारिकानाथ dwārikā-nāth, Master of dwā- rikā, i. e. Kr̤ish̤ṇa.

درود durūd P s. f. m. Congratulation, benedic- tion, salutation, blessing. درود بهيجنا durūd bhejnā, To bless.

ديت diyat A s. f. The law of retaliation, the price of blood, the fine paid for murder, wounding or maiming. (In cases of murder it is ex- acted, when the homicide is committed in any other way than with sword, dagger, &c.).

دروازي darwāzī P s. m. A keeper of a door or gate, a warden.
