خلف ḵẖalaf A s. m. 1. A successour, an heir, a favourite son, posterity, descendants. 2. (ad- jectively) Depraved, corrupted. خلف الصدق ḵẖalafu-ṣ-ṣidḳ, True or rightful heir. ¶ ḵẖulf, Breach of promise.

خضاب ḵẖiẓāb A (from خضب) s. m. 1. Tinc- ture. 2. Tinging the nails and hair, but par- ticularly the beard. خضاب آهني کرنا ḵẖiẓāb-i-āhanī karnā, To shave the beard.

خليل ḵẖalīl A s. m. A friend; the friend (of God), Abraham.

خرچه ḵẖarch-a A. s. m. Costs of lawsuits.

خوگير ḵẖogīr P s. m. The stuffing of a saddle, a pad, a packsaddle. خوگير دوز ḵẖogīr-doz, s. m. A saddle-maker.

خله ḵẖala P s. A long pole with which they im- pel a boat, perhaps a rudder, trifles, idle talk, any thing which penetrates or goes down in a place, as a needle, &c., a wind causing sharp pain in the belly, a pain that comes suddenly in the side and joints, any thing that passes away by degrees or slowly, a written document signed by a judge.

خيلي ḵẖaile P adv. Many, much, very, extremely.

خنث ḵẖuns̤ A s. m. An hermaphrodite.

خوشبوٴي ḵẖụsh-bo-ī P s. f. Perfume, fragrance.
