Particular, private, what is kept for the kingʼs (or the mas- terʼs) private use, own, proper, peculiar, single, gentle. 3. adv. Especially, peculiarly. خاص بردار ḵẖāṣṣ-bardār, s. m. A servant who, in a great manʼs retinue, carries a firelock. خاص خواص ḵẖāṣṣ-ḵẖaẉāṣṣ, A royal female servant. خاصدان ḵẖāṣṣ-dān, A kind of canteen to carry water-vessels in. خاص محل ḵẖāṣṣ-maḥal, s. m.
