حسان ḥussān A or ḥassān, adj. Very good, most beautiful. ¶ ḥisān, plur. of حسان ḥussān, q. v.

حصار ḥiṣār A (from حصر) s. m. An enclosure, a fence, besieging, a fortification, fort, fortress, bulwark, fortified place.

حمايل ḥamāʼịl A (from حمل) s. f. 1. A sword- belt hung from the shoulders. 2. A necklace of flowers. 3. A small ḳurʼān suspended to the neck as an amulet.

حور ḥūr A (from حار Heb. and Ch. To be white, to see, to have in-
