چرمرا churmurā H An imitative sound.

چرچنا charachnā S̱. (see چرچا चर्चा charchā, sig. 3.) v. a. To perfume by smearing or plastering the body with sandal-wood, &c.

چلون chilwan H s. f. A skreen for keeping out the glare, a venetian blind, a lattice.

چهلچهلانا chhalchhalānā H v. a. To murmur.

چهنلا chhinalā H s. m. Fornicator.

چنچنانا chanchanānā H v. n. 1. To throb or shoot (as, a bile, &c.). 2. To make the noise butter does in a fryingpan.

چکرا chakrā H s. m. A kind of dish made of pulse.

چهٿـﮩ‍ا chhaṭahā H adj. Waspish, peevish.

چڙچڙاهٿ chiṛchiṛā-haṭ. H s. f. Peevishness, fretfulness.

چيني chīn-ī H s. f. Sugar (coarse; being, per- haps, so named from چين chīn, China, whence it might have been first brought to India; as, sugar-candy is called مصري miṣr-ī apparently from مصر miṣr, Egypt).
