چچڙ chuchchaṛ चूचुक S̱. s. m. Large breasts.

چـﮩلنا chahalnā H v. n. To be fatigued, to tire.

چڙهيتا chaṛhaitā H (from چڙهنا) s. m. A trooper who does not ride his own horse, a rider.

چلچل chulchul चंचल S̱. s. m. Wantonness, inconstancy.

چربي charb-ī P s. f. Fat, suet, grease. چربي دار charbī-dār, adj. Fat, not lean, greasy. چربي کي جهلي charbī kī jhillī, s. f. Caul.

چنپا champā चंपक S̱. s. m. The name of a flower-tree. See چنپک. (Michelia cham- paca). چنپاکلي champā-kalī, s. f. A necklace, each piece of which resembles the unblown flowers of the champā. چنپا کيلا champā-kelā, A kind of plantain. H.S̱. چنپت هونا champat honā, v. n. See چمپت هونا champat honā.

چوکهـ chokh H 1. adj. Sharp. 2. also chūkh, s. m. The name of a medicine, orris-root, orrice or iris-root.

چمک chamak H (from چمکنا) s. f. Glitter, splendour, flash, glare, gleam. چمک تمک chamak-tamak, s. f. Splendour, refulgence, glitter.

چونکيل chaunk-el H s. m. An untamed animal, a boggler.

چلو chullū चुलुक S̱. s. m. A handful, the palm of the hand contracted so as to hold water. چلوبهرپاني مين ڐوب مرنا chullū bhar pānī meṅ ḍūb marnā (lit. To drown oneʼs self in a handful of water) To be greatly abashed: see چپني بهرپاني مين ڐوب مرنا chapnī bhar pānī meṅ ḍūb marnā. چلوچلوسادهنا chullū chullū sādhnā, To get a habit of drinking by gradual increase. چلومين الوهونا chullū meṅ ullū honā, To be in- toxicated with a mouthful.
