چهوپ chhop H (from چهوپنا) s. m. A coat of paint, &c. چهوپ چهاپ کرنا chhop chhāp karnā, 1. To shuffle up. 2. To plaster or repair a wall, &c.

چمچه chamcha P s. m. A spoon. چمچه بهر cham- cha-bhar, adj. Spoonful. (Sans. चमस)

چلاچل chalāchal S (चलाचल) s. f. The bustle of setting out on a journey, &c., setting about any thing.

چٿ chiṭ H s. f. Rag, scrap. چٿ اکهڙنا chiṭ ukhaṛnā, v. n. To splinter or have small pieces knocked off (furniture).

چڙ chuṛ H s. f. Vulva.

چرانا churānā S̱. (चोरण r. चुर) v. a. To steal, filch, rob.

چهوڙنا chhoṛnā S̱. (trans. of چهٿنا chhuṭnā, q. v.) v. a. To let go, emit fire, emit, forgive, forsake, leave, quit, desert, except, loose, free, omit, pardon, release, resign, discharge, lay aside, shoot, fire (a gun, &c), spare, abandon, abdi- cate, abstain, breathe.
