چٿکارا chiṭkārā H s. m. 1. (Sans. चित्र Varie- gated, and r. कृ Make) A speck, a scar. چٿکارالگانا chiṭkārā lagānā, To brand. 2. A clack with the tongue occasioned by an acrid taste.

چهتيسي chhattīs-ī S̱. (from چهتيس q. d. one who knows thirty six postures and pretends inno- cence) adj. f. Prude, prudish. S̱. چهٿ chhuṭ (r. चुट Divide: be little) 1. adv. But, except, save. 2. In compos. (contract. of چهوٿا) Little, small; as چهٿ بهيا chhuṭ-bhaiyā, s. m. Middling class of people. چهٿ پنا chhuṭ- panā, s. m. Childhood.

چهيوا chhewā S̱. s. m. Spaces, comma, &c.

چچنڐا chichinḍā H s. m. The name of a vege- table. (Beta vulgaris).
