چندن चंदन chandan S s. m. Sandal-wood or -tree, sanders. (Sirium myrtifolium or Santalum album).

چودس chaudas चतुर्दशी S̱. s. f. The four- teenth day of the lunar fortnight.

چکش chakish P (from چکيدن) s. f. The drip- ping or dropping (of water, &c.).

چقمق chaḳmaḳ T s. f. A flint.

چوان chūʼān S̱. or chuʼān (see چونا chūnā) s. f. A reservoir, a cistern. چوان کهاٴي chuʼān-khāʼī, A deep ditch with water springing at the bottom.

چغتا chag̠ẖattā T s. m. The name of a Mughal family, to which the house of Tīmūr belongs.

چپوٿي chapoṭī H s. f. An old worn-out turband.

چتربهجي चतुर्भुजी chatur-bhuj-ī S adj. f. Having four arms, an epithet of Devī.
