چومکهـ chau-mukh S̱. (चतुर्मुख Four-faced) s. m. 1. A lamp-stand with partitions or burners. 2. A name of Brahmā.

چراگاه charā-gāh P s. f. A pasture, a meadow.

A kind of saddle (without a tree). چارچشم chār-chashm, s. f. Meeting, interview, the eyes of two people meeting. چارچند chār-chand, adj. Quadruple, fourfold. چارخانه chār-ḵẖāna, 1. adj. Che- quered. 2. s. m. A kind of cloth. چارديواري chār-dīwār-ī, s. f. A court-yard, enclosure, area. چارزانو chār-zānū, A mode of sitting, as tailors sit at work. چارزانوبيٿهنا chār-zānū baiṭhnā, To squat. چارسال chār-sāl, A horse of four years old. چارسو chār-sū, A cross road, two roads crossing each other, a square or court. چارشانه chār-shāna, adj. چڙهانا chaṛhānā H (trans. of چڙهنا chaṛhnā) v. a. 1. To make ascend, embark, &c. 2. To offer up oblations or sacrifice. 3. To string (a bow), to brace (a drum). 4. To raise, lift, take up, advance, apply, put, spread, bend, die (with colour), pull, draw on, cock, fix (a bayonet), run.

چيتهنا chīthnā H v. a. To rend, to tear.

چلم chilam H s. f. The part of a ḥuḳḳa which contains the tobacco and fire.
