چندي chande P adj. Some, a few, a little, some time, awhile.

چرند يا چرنده charand P or charanda, adj. Gra- zing (an animal). s. m. A beast, an animal that grazes. چرند و پرند charand o parand, s. m. Beasts and birds.

چٿخنا chaṭaḵẖnā H v. n. To crackle (as, char- coal). See چٿکنا chaṭaknā.

چم cham P 1. s. A graceful gait, a way of walking with a bend or leaning from side to side. 2. adj. Prepared, adorned: gained: bent, curved, crooked.

چرچنا charchnā चर्चन S̱. v. a. To consider, to reflect, to apprehend, to conceive.

چهٿي chhuṭṭī S̱. (from چهٿنا chhuṭnā) s. f. Dis- charge, release, acquittal, leave, time, leisure, cessation, disengagement, intermission, dismis- sion, permission, freedom.

چرکا charkā S̱. (from चित्रक) 1. adj. White- spotted (as, from a leprosy). 2. s. m. A small wound, scratch.

چهپانا chhapānā H (caus. of چهاپنا) v. a. To cause to print.

چونر chawaṅr S̱. s. m. See چونري chauṅrī.

چهيجنا chhījnā H v. n. To decrease, to pine away. ديکها ديکهي کيجي جوگ چهيجي کايا باڙهي روگ dekhā dekhī kīje jog, chhīje kāyā bāṛhe rog, They who merely imitate others in austerity, waste away, and their diseases in- crease.
