چهاجنا chhājnā छादन S̱. v. n. 1. To thatch. 2. To befit, to become.

چرنا chirnā S̱. (intrans. of چيرنا chīrnā, q. v.) v. n. To be torn or split, to split.

چٿکي chuṭkī H s. f. 1. A pinch. 2. Snapping of the fingers. 3. The hammer of a gun. 4. A mode of printing cloth or gulbadan. 5. چونکنا chaunknā H v. n. To start, to boggle, to start up from sleep. چونک اٿهنا chaunk uṭhnā, To start, to wince. چونک پڙنا chaunk paṛnā, To bounce, to start up.

چهوانا chhūʼānā H (causal of چهونا chhūnā) v. a. To cause to touch, &c.

چانپ chāmp H s. f. 1. The lock of a gun. 2. The stocks, the rack. چانپ چڙهانا chāmp chaṛhānā, 1. To cock a gun. 2. To punish or torment by squeezing the ear with the lock of a gun.

چوکڙا chau-kaṛā S̱. s. m. A ring of two pearls worn in each ear.
