چمڙاٴي chimṛā-ī H s. f. Power, rigour, flexi- bility, ductility.

چنگنا chinagnā H v. n. 1. To throb, to shoot (as, a bile, &c.). 2. To cry, to screech. ¶ chung- nā, v. a. (dakh.) To suck.

چيکهر chīkhur H s. m. A squirrel.

چمٿ رهنا chimaṭ rahnā H v. n. To cleave to.

چکاوک chakāwak P s. m. 1. A lark. 2. An aquatick bird, said to be the same as the سرخاب surḵẖāb, q. v.

چاشني chāshnī P s. f. 1. Flavour, relish, a mixture of sweet and sour. 2. A specimen. 3. Sirup.

چرچري churchurī H s. f. See جري churrī.

چکراني chakrānī P. (fem. of چاکر) s. f. Woman servant, maidservant.

چنگ chang P s. f. 1. A claw. 2. The hand expanded. 3. A kind of guitar, a harp. 4. Fame, report. 5. A paper kite which they fly at night. 6. The name of a suit at cards: see under تاج tāj. چنگ نوازي chang-nawāz-ī, s. f. Playing on the guitar, &c.
