جهلگا jhilgā H 1. s. m. The netted bottom of a bed or couch when worn out and separated. 2. adj. A couch or bed is said to be جهلگا jhilgā, when the bottom is worn out or broken.

جوع jūﻌ A s. f. Hunger, appetite. جوع البقر jūʼuﻌ-l-baḳar or جوع الکلب jūʼuﻌ-l-kalb, adj. Vo- racious, gluttonous. جوع کلبي jūﻌ kalbī, Canine hunger.

جهڙپ jhaṛap H s. f. Heat, fieriness (as, of pep- per), acrimony, sparring, contention.

جهلجهلانا jhaljhalānā S̱. (from s. r. ज्वल Shine) v. n. 1. To glitter, to glare. 2. To be in a pas- sion. 3. To throb, to ache, to smart.
