آزار āzār P 1. s. m. Sickness, disorder, disease, trouble, affliction, injury. 2. Part. act. in com- pos. (of آزردن) Troubling, afflicting, as in مردم آزار mardum-āzār. آزارده āzār-dih, adj. Vexa- tious, troublesome. آزار دهي āzār-dih-ī, s. f. Vexatiousness, troublesomeness.

آزاري āzār-ī P adj. Sick, a sick person.

ازار izār P s. f. Drawers, trousers.

ازاربند izār-band P s. m. The string with which drawers are tied. ازاربندي رشته izār-band-ī rish- ta, Connexion through a wife; petticoat interest.

اوزار auzār A s. plur. (of وزر) 1. Sins or offences (but in Hindī not used in this sense). 2. Arms, tools, apparatus. 3. The rigging and imple- ments of a ship or boat. 4. Asylums, places of defence.

بازار bāzār P s. m. A market.

بازاري bāzār-ī P adj. Belonging to the market; a market person.

بيزار bezār P adj. Displeased, angry, out of hu- mour, disgusted: (vulg.) sick.

بيزاري bezār-ī P s. f. Anger, bad humour, dis- pleasure.

ريگزار reg-zār P s. m. A sandy region or place.

زار zār P 1. s. m. Desire, wish. 2. A groan, la- mentation. 3. adj. Afflicted, groaning, lamenting. زار زار zār-zār, Great lamentation. زارنالي zār-nālī, Lamentation. زارو نزار zār-o-nizār, Emaciated. 4. (in compos.) It implies place, multitude; as, گلزار gul-zār, s. m. A garden of roses.

زاري zār-ī P s. f. Crying, sighing, groaning, la- mentation, supplication, crying for help.

مزار mazār A (noun of place from زور Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. f. 1. A place of visitation; (hence) 2. Sepulchre, tomb, grave, shrine.

مزارع muzāriﻌ A (part. act. III. of زرع) s. m. A husbandman. ¶ mazāriﻌ, s. plur. of مزرع mazraﻌ, q. v.

نزار nizār P adj. Thin, lean, slender, subtile.
