اترن utaran S̱. (from उत्तीर्ण see under اترنا utarnā) s. f. A fragment, any thing taken off from the body; cast off clothes. اترن هونا utaran-honā, To be freed (from debt), to descend, alight.

اترنا utarnā S̱. (उत्तरण from उत् and r. तृ Cross over) v. n. To descend, to alight, to halt, bait, disembark, land, dismount, to subside, to de- crease, to pass over, to cross, to go off, to fall off, to decay, to fade, to flag, to be freed from debt, to become insipid, to flatten, to fall in value or in dignity.

اتروانا utarwānā S̱. (caus. of اترنا) v. a. To cause to descend or alight.

اوترنا autarnā S. or avatarnā (from अवतार) v. n. To descend (as an incarnation of the Deity, &c.) on earth.

متردد mutaraddid A (part. act. V. of ردّ Heb. ) adj. 1. Rejected. 2. Adverse. 3. Wandering. 4. Irresolute, perplexed, ambitious, hesitating, wavering. S. متردروهي मित्रद्रोही (from मित्र Friend, and द्रोह Malice) mitr-drohī, s. m. A false friend, a treacherous friend.

مترصد mutaraṣṣid A part. act. (V. of رصد Heb. ) 1. Expecting, watching, exploring. 2. Contemplating, gazing at.

مترضي mutaraẓẓī A part. act. (V. of رضو Heb. ) Contenting, satisfying.

مترقب mutaraḳḳib A part. act. (V. of رقب) Expecting, watching, observing, desiring. ¶ mutaraḳḳab, part. pass. m. and مترقبه muta- raḳḳaba, part. pass. f. Expected.
