استخوان ustuḵẖẉān P (Sans. अस्थि) s. m. A bone, the stone of fruit, &c.

بخار buḵẖār A s. m. Steam, glowing heat (of the ground or such as is felt in a fever), vapour, ex- halation. بخاردل مين رکهنا buḵẖār dil meṅ raḵẖnā, To entertain enmity or malice in the heart. بخارنکلنا buḵẖār nikalnā, To break out (as, an eruption on the skin).

بختي buḵẖtī P s. f. A quick-paced camel (gene- rally used to ride on, and not for burthens).

بخل buḵẖl A s. m. Avarice, stinginess, parsi- mony.

تخم tuḵẖm P s. m. 1. Seed. 2. An egg. 3. Sperm. 4. A testicle. تخم بالنگو tuḵẖm-i-bā- langū, s. m. A seed of a cooling quality. تخم بد tuḵẖm-i-bad, adj. Low-bred. تخم ريحان tuḵẖm- i-rīḥān, s. m. The seed of Ocymum pilosum: see ببي babai. تخم ريزي tuḵẖm-rezī, s. f. Scat- tering seed, sowing. تخم کاهو tuḵẖm-i-kāhū, s. m. Seed of lettuce. (Lactuca sativa). تخم کتان tuḵẖm-i-katān, s. m. Linseed.

تخمه tuḵẖma A (from وخم) s. m. Indigestion.

تشيخ tashaiyuḵẖ A (inf. v. of شيخ) s. m. Osten- tatious pretence to, or display of rank or dignity.

تماسخ tamāsuḵẖ A (inf. vi. of مسخ) s. m. Effacing, transforming, metamorphosing.

تناسخ tanāsuḵẖ A (inf. vi. of نسخ) s. m. Trans- migration, metempsychosis.

تنخنخ tanaḵẖnuḵẖ A (inf. ii. of نخنخ) s. m. Clearing the throat, hemming, hawking.

دخان duḵẖān A s. m. Smoke.

دخاني duḵẖān-ī A adj. Smoky.

دخت duḵẖt P s. f. See دختر duḵẖtar. دخت رز duḵẖt-i-raz, s. f. Wine.

دختر duḵẖtar P (Sans. दुहितृ) s. f. A daughter, a girl, a virgin. دخترتاک duḵẖtar-i-tāk or دختررز duḵẖtar-i-raz, s. f. (Daughter of the vine) Wine, a grape.

دورخي do-ruḵẖ-ī P s. f. A kind of bow.
