اترن utaran S̱. (from उत्तीर्ण see under اترنا utarnā) s. f. A fragment, any thing taken off from the body; cast off clothes. اترن هونا utaran-honā, To be freed (from debt), to descend, alight.

بترن विरतण bitaran S or vitaraṇ, s. m. Giving charity, donation, alms.

ترنم tarannum A (inf. v. of رنم) s. m. A song, modulation.

ترنگ तरंग tarang S s. f. 1. Wave, emotion. 2. Whim, conceit, fancy, caprice. 3. Becoming state and dignity.

ترنگي तरंगी tarang-ī S adj. Braggart, fantas- tical, whimsical.

جل ترنجي jal-taranjī S̱. s. f. Name of a musical instrument.

جل ترنگ जलतरंग jal-tarang S s. m. The musical glasses or harmonicon; playing on glasses or china bowls by rubbing the edges; a brass vessel in which water is put and the edges are beaten with two sticks.

نسترن nastaran P s. m. 1. The white rose of India. (Rosa glandulifera: Roxb.). 2. Name of a kind of cloth.
