In the manner of a chief, au- thoritatively. شيخ ڐونڐو shaiḵẖ-ḍoṅḍū, A figure dressed up by way of sport or charm. شيخنا shaiḵẖanā, MyLord! my preceptor! my patron!

شيخوخت shaiḵẖūḵẖat A s. f. Old age.

شيد shaid P s. m. Deceit, trick, fascination.

شيدا shaidā P adj. 1. Mad. 2. Deeply in love.

شيطان shait̤ān A (from شطن Heb. To be disobedient or hostile) s. m. The devil, Satan. شيطان کي آنت shait̤ān kī ānt, The devilʼs guts, any thing very long and winding (as a lane). (Plur. شياطين). A.P. شيطاني shait̤ān-ī, adj. Devilish.

شيطنت shait̤anat A s. f. Devilʼs tricks, wickedness.

شين shain A s. Disgrace, dishonour.
