بدسلا bad-salā S̱. (वराह A hog, and शाला A house) s. m. A hogsty.

سلامت salāmat A (from سلم) s. f. Safety, salva- tion, recovery, tranquillity, health; adjectively, Safe, well, in safety. سلامت رو salāmat-rau, An economist. سلامت روي salāmat-rau-ī, s. f. Economy, good management.

سلامتي salāmat-ī A. s. f. 1. Health, safety; in health or safety. 2. A coarse kind of cloth.

سلامي salām-ī A. s. f. 1. Salute. 2. A present given to a landlord for granting a lease, &c.

سلاٴي salāʼī शलाका S̱. s. f. 1. A needle, or piece of wire for tinging the eyelids with a collyrium: also, used for depriving people of sight, which is effected by drawing it while hot close over the eyes of the sufferer. 2. A lead pencil.

سلاکا शलाका salākā S s. f. 1. A rule, a ruler. 2. A probe.

سلسلانا salsalānā H v. n. 1. To creep (as, a snake), &c. See سرسرانا sarsarānā. 2. (dakh.) To rankle: see کهٿکنا.
